What I'm working on

The Awake Woman: A Philosophy of Freedom.

A forthcoming book and speaking platform for women in the middle of their lives who are done performing.

It started as the second edition of Just In Case. It became something bigger.

Twenty-two years inside family law taught me one thing: women don't lose themselves in marriages. We lose ourselves in the years spent not admitting to our innermost selves the truth about what the life of our wildest dreams looks like. The Awake Woman is what happens after.

I'm writing it now. I'm speaking on it now. If your audience is ready for it, let's talk.

What I speak on

Four conversations I keep having.

Reinvention after 40.

The math of starting over — financially, romantically, professionally — when you already built a life once.

Divorce, told honestly.

Not the legal mechanics. The actual cost: the kids, the money, the years you knew and didn't move.

Modern relationships, modern motherhood.

Co-parenting, dating, single motherhood, the conversations nobody had with us about love and money.

Women, technology, and getting your time back.

What AI actually changes for the women running households, careers, and family logistics at the same time.

The Book

Just In Case! Lose Your Heart, Not Your Mind.

Published 2017. A family law attorney's honest field guide to divorce — what to do before you file, what nobody tells you about money, and how to protect your kids without weaponizing them.

The Awake Woman — coming next. Sign up for letters to follow along.
